Senior Teaching & Learning Support Practitioner - Permanent, 37 hours a week, Monday to Friday, term time only plus 10 additional days N6 SCP 20 - 24 £31,586 - £34,314 p.a. pro rata £27,820 - £30,223

The successful post holder will support and assist teachers and other senior staff as part of a professional team to contribute to raising standards of pupils’ achievement. You will undertake a range of teaching and learning activities under the professional general guidance of a qualified teacher or senior staff member, in line with the school’s policies and procedures. Supervising allocated teaching and learning support staff you will have experience of working with children of a relevant age in a learning environment. The ability to plan, prepare and deliver engaging lessons are essential. You should possess relevant skills or training in your subject field if applicable, the ability to assess student progress and provide constructive feedback, with training in relevant learning strategies and relevant qualifications (e.g. NVQ Level 2 or above).
